What is a Dual Language
Immersion School?

  •  Dual Language is an educational model where native English speakers and native Spanish speakers learn together for all or most of the day.  The goal is to  promote high academic development and cross-cultural understanding for everyone. Academic subjects are taught to all students in English and Spanish.
  • The program creates a biliterate environment where the home language is maintained while the second language is acquired.  No language is "second."  Students become native speakers of two languages.
